Ethernal performed a review of our IT infrastructure and one of the main recommendations was to install a Sophos SG105, to protect our network from external threats, viruses, malware and spam email. This was installed with a minimum of disruption, with the majority of the configuration being done offsite. The Sophos SG105 has significantly reduced the number of spam emails; blocked emails with viruses from reaching users and protected our network from external attacks. Ethernal provided an excellent service and configured the SG105 to meet our own requirements. This, along with the professional support from Ethernal, has provided a great peace of mind when it comes to our network security and infrastructure.

As a result of Ethernal upgrading our internet router to a Sophos Security Gateway, we discovered that most of our computers had previously been infected with malware, and we had no idea, despite having a well know anti-virus software installed on each of the machines in question. The new security gateway has given us far more peace of mind that our systems are protected from external interference and we can now monitor exactly what is going on with our internet connection.
